I make the complex feel obvious.

Give me a big, tangled system and I’ll shape it into something people enjoy using, and developers enjoy building.

Some of the problems I’ve untangled. NDA means no real screens, so you get the thinking instead.

A payment surface that configures itself

Payments UX · senior designer, then design lead · 2024–present

One payment interface deployed across many client sites, each with a different layout, density and set of payment methods. The design problem was never the screen. It was deciding which of those differences a client should be allowed to change, and which ones the system decides for them.

A roulette table you can bet on the edges of

Design system owner · live-streamed betting interface

A bet in roulette is often not placed on a number. It is placed on the boundary between two of them. That single fact decides the entire component architecture, and it is why this table is built out of directional half-cells rather than a grid.

One token system, two products, and a reader that is not human

Design systems · owner since Mar 2025

A semantic token layer shared by two products on top of a third-party component library, and an attempt to state it explicitly enough that a model can build with it instead of inventing the parts it cannot see.

Experience

EGT Digital · Full-time · Sofia · 3 yrs 4 mos

  1. UI/UX Design Team Lead

    Mar 2025 – Present

    • Own the design system across multiple products built on a semantic token structure, each with its own Figma library.
    • Defined the configuration model for a client-facing payments product: container types, lobby layouts, form variants and density scales, so one design serves many client setups without a new design cycle.
    • Partner with front-end on a component library extending external libraries, deciding where a custom component is justified and where it adds maintenance cost.
    • Onboard, coach and upskill the designers on my team through regular workshops.
  2. Senior UI/UX Designer

    Oct 2024 – Mar 2025

    • Designed end-to-end flows for a payments product: method selection, saved payment methods, transaction history, receipts and failure states.
    • Built a design system from the ground up for a real-time mobile product: components and tokens.
    • Worked directly with front-end through implementation, resolving how components behave under business-logic constraints.
  3. UI/UX Designer

    Jul 2023 – Oct 2024

    • Developed and maintained design systems, ensuring consistent user experiences across digital products.

About

I like the products nobody volunteers for: configuration-heavy, rule-bound, forty states deep. Chaos is more interesting than a landing page.

I lead the Internal Design and Applications team at EGT Digital: a client-facing payments widget, the back office that configures it, and the design system on shared semantic tokens.

I think in tokens and components, and I spend much of my time with product owners and developers, scoping what’s actually buildable and staying with it through implementation. I leverage AI to build design systems and components that I can hand off to developers, so features and products ship faster.
